KRCL’s Summer Community Drive is right around the corner. from June 11th through June 13th.  We need your help to make it a successful one! Volunteers are needed to operate the phones and take pledges during designated volunteer-shifts at the station.  Please see below for more information and to sign-up for volunteer-shifts.  All are welcome to volunteer!

The State of Utah vs. Gay Families

Marriage, Amendment 3 and gay adoptions.  The State of Utah is deploying all of it’s resources to insure that LGBT families do not have access to the rights of marriage. As the fate of Amendment 3 works its way through the courts, real Utah families are caught in the crossfire.  Troy welcomes human rights attorney Laura Milliken Gray and Kathy and Michelle, a married couple battling the state over the right to second parent adoption.  We discuss the State’s efforts to block adoptions, the 10th Circuit Court and the fate of LGBT families in Utah.
