November is Transgender Education and Awareness month. Listen as Nick Burns talks about transitions in a marriage with Rachel and Sue Edwards, who said "I do" 16 years ago as Scott and Sue.

Ben Luks-Morgan of the Utah Pride Center talks about his own transition and offers details about the Genderevolution Conference (Sat., Nov. 14, at Rowland Hall-St. Mark's School, 843 Lincoln St., SLC).

Dr. Kathryn Bond-Stockton, an Equality Utah ally of the year, will talk about gender, even offering some parenting tips in this age of gender fluidity.

Those are conversations we had already recorded when the news broke last week that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints had changed its policies, effectively barring children of same-sex parents from certain rites until they turn 18 and disavow their parents lifestyle, a lifestyle which also is now considered apostasy in the church. So we start the show with some reaction from Erika Munson of Mormons Building Bridges and filmmaker Kendall Wilcox, director of the Far Between Project, which is creating an ongoing conversation about what it means to be LGBT and Mormon.
