‘Just Be There’ BYU Students Stand Up for LGBT Youth

Adam White and Bradley Brough are students at Brigham Young University.  They are also members of the club, Understanding Same Gender Attraction (USGA) a forum and support group for students who identify as LGBTQ/SSA.  In an effort to combat the rise of youth LGBT suicides, USGA has created the Just Be There video to offer love and encouragement to people struggling with their orientation or gender identity.  Adam is being recognized for his work by The Trevor Project, a national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention for LGBTQ youth. We discuss the changing dynamics of queer students at BYU and what this all means for the future of the LDS Church.
