For the last 25 years, the Make a Wish Foundation has been hosting the Rubber Ducky Derby, a fun event where the community can come together to raise funds for the organization – which grants wishes to local children dealing with a life threatening medical condition. Savannah and Cesar, two children who have had their wishes granted talk about the power of the experience. The Rubber Ducky Derby is August 10th. More information: http://utah.wish.org/

KRCL is proud to partner with Neighborhood House for our 2013 Summer Community drive. For over a hundred years, Neighborhood House has been providing creative, engaging and supportive programs for pre-school and school aged children. The organization works to level the playing field by offering high quality educational resources to children who might not be able to access them otherwise. Recently (35 years is only recent to an organization that old!) Neighborhood House has added adult day services, helping to round out their mission to provide quality, affordable care.
