Utah Phillips – The Last Will & Testament of Joe Hill

by Troy Williams

All week KRCL celebrates the songs and stories of U, Utah Phillips. Joe Hill was executed in Salt Lake City on Nov. 19 1915. His death inspired a generation of labor organizers to not mourn but “organize!”.  In this cut Utah Phillips collaborates with Ani DiFranco to tell the story of the late radical activist and Wobbly.

“I never died says he!”
