As co-founder and executive director of The Dreamcatcher Foundation, Brenda Myers-Powell works to to end human trafficking in Chicago. She’s no academic – she spent 25 years on the streets, starting at the age of 14. Her past and present are on screen in the documentary DreamCatcher, which the Utah Film Center will present Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at the main City Library, 210 E. 400 S., SLC. Lara Jones had a chance to speak to Brenda recently, and here’s some of what she said:
