Reproductive (In)Justice: Organizing for Collective Liberation

In acknowledgement of the 46th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, UMFA invites you to gather for a conversation with local organizers who uphold reproductive justice values in their activism work in Utah. These leaders will explain the herstory of the reproductive justice movement and how it can function as a framework for organizing local efforts. Speakers include birth workers, student organizers, members of the Mamas and Doulas of Color Circle, advocates for queer (LGBTQ) liberation, and community health educators. Community members are invited to share their knowledge and stories surrounding reproductive (in)justices to co-create a space of healing, learning, hope, and empowerment.

The following will be available: Child Care provided by UMFA Docents; Spanish language interpreters; Emotional Care and
Refreshments. This event is free
