Construction Industry Education and Hiring Event

Did you know that 25% of construction workers are over 55 years old and that 41% of the current workforce is expected to retire by 2031? This is a serious issue for the construction industry's future, especially when you consider the industry must fill an additional 500,000 positions in 2024 to meet demand. Fortunately, Hard Hats Hiring is leading the charge to address this issue by highlighting construction and piquing the interest of the next generation of builders .On May 14, 2024, Hard Hats Hiring, along with other leading builders in Utah, will host their first-ever construction education and hiring event. This is a career exploration and hiring event unlike any other. The purpose is to introduce the public to the construction industry, with participants hearing from professionals working in various construction roles. They can also meet and speak with industry leaders and trade partners to learn about the day-to-day tasks they perform, the education and training required for their jobs, and the rewards and challenges of working in their fields. Events like these are crucial for our industry, which is evolving rapidly, and there are more ways than ever for people of all backgrounds to apply their diverse skills in construction. In addition to the education piece, Hard Hats Hiring has teamed up with RoadDogJobs.com, a leader in recruiting and job posting for the industrial construction industry. With a database of over 226,000 skilled tradesmen and tradeswomen nationwide, they will help bring in hundreds of skilled job seekers for the event. Whether you’re looking to fill positions within your company or would like to help educate the public about our incredible industry, we need your help to make this event a success!
