  • APPLY: Fundamentals by Westside Leadership Institute is a comprehensive 16-week course that provides an opportunity for individuals to gain valuable knowledge in community engagement, resource access, and leadership development. The course is taught by experienced university professors and community leaders who bring a wealth of knowledge and real-world experience to the program. Ways of Water with Connor Estes: Jordan Menzel, owner and operator of Maple Grove Hot Springs is on to talk about the planned dam along the Oneida Reservoir on the Bear River. This project could have impacts on the amount of water that makes its way to the Great Salt Lake. There is an open comment period until December 26th to share your opinions on the proposed project.   • MORE PUBLIC COMMENT: Warm Springs Park and North Gateway Park: Go Bond Project. Deadline: Dec. 30, 2023. "Warm Springs Park and North Gateway Park are Salt Lake City neighborhood parks located in Council District 3 in the Capitol Hill Neighborhood. These parks were selected as one of the Reimagine Neighborhood Parks to receive funding from the Parks, Trails, & Open Space General Obligation Bond (GO Bond), approved by voters in November 2022. Neighborhood parks funded by the GO Bond aim to invest and activate underutilized parks to increase access to green spaces and quality parks. The vision and desired usage of the park will be guided by the input we collect during community engagement. To view the project website for updates and events, please click here!
