John Rafferty of the Maui Wowie Art + Music Benefit for Indigenous Housing in Maui, Hawai'i is checking with us to share details about what you can do locally to support our brothers + sister affected by the Maui Wildfires.

Mushroom Hunting + Documenting Rocky Mountain Community Radio is checking with some mushroom hunters as there’s been a bumper crop of mushrooms in northwest Wyoming this year. And an effort is underway to document them in the first of its kind in more than 40 years.

  • Sept. 23: The Walk of No Shame - presented by SlutWalk SLC at 12 PM FREE Event - open to ALL AGES. However, due to the nature of the content discussed, parental discretion is advised.

    Join us for the annual Walk of No Shame! This is an annual event that brings together survivors, allies, activists, and community support in order to raise awareness and fight back against sexual violence, victim-blaming, and slut-shaming. This year SlutWalk's focus has been to bring together different stories and communities- Allyship is Intersectional! Our theme is to illuminate the unique journeys of Survivors of Sexual Violence- and how that journey to healing looks different for everyone. Dress to impress or come as you are- signs are not only welcome but encouraged!

  • Sept. 30 at 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM The Second Annual Bonnie Ball Street Festival:  This all-ages grassroots community event celebrating local fish and wildlife is where @utahwildlifewalls started last year. Join @utahwildlifewalls and @theneighborhoodhive and help us celebrate the three murals and statewide wildlife contest we’ve produced since then!
