RoundtableTuesdays explores the role of social movements and government in our communities with Josianne Petit of Mama and Papa Panthers and SL County D.A. Sim Gill. Plus, a new poem from Alex "The Wordshaker" Caldiero.

Tonight's lineup:

Josianne Petit of Mama & Papa Panthers, a group for parents raising black children. There are white parents, black parents, and every parent in between. It is to support transracial adoptive parents in their efforts to raise healthy, well-adjusted, black children.

  • September 10: Darrien Hunt vigil honoring the anniversary of his death, 6:30 p.m. at Pioneer Park, 500 W. Center St., Provo. Hosted by Mama and Papa Panthers: "We will be meeting at Pioneer Park in Provo (Center St and 500 W) at the flag pole. As always, wear your mask and bring lots of water. Encouraged: Dress up! Darrien loved cosplay and as this is in honor of his life we would like as many people as possible to dress up in his honor."
