"Join us and others committed to uplifting our community for an intimate dinner celebrating our relentless pursuit of social impact. Each ticket includes a main dish, two sides, a dessert, and two mocktails. Indulge in a menu crafted with care and passion, showcasing plant-based Asian flavors. Everyone deserves access to nutritious, culturally competent, dignified food. That’s why every dish we plate at our community dinner will feature the same high-quality ingredients we serve to our neighbors experiencing homelessness and food insecurity. April 19: Food Justice Coalition Community Outreach Day, 1:00 p.m. at Pioneer Park, 350 S. 300 W., SLC. "Every third Saturday of the month FJC hosts a community outreach day to serve unsheltered neighbors and families facing hunger. We will give out nutritious meals, clothing, water, coffee, and other resources from one central location at Pioneer Park. If you have any items you’d like to donate, please bring any gently used clothing, shoes, tents, or other survival gear you’d like to donate. Unopened hygiene supplies and prepackaged snacks are also welcome. Season-appropriate clothing, new socks and new underwear are needed and appreciated. Thank you to our community partners @gnarlynutrition and @culturecoffeeslc and @saltlakeharmreductionproject for collaborating with us to provide much-needed supplies, resources, and information to attendees."
