SLCC’s Community Writing Center shuts its doors for good

Reporter Alina Walker on SLCC's closure of its public-facing Community Writing Center due to HB265 budget cuts. The team will be joined with Teresa Chaikowsky, student journalist from The Globe at SLCC, and Kati Lewis, SLCC Professor and Former Director of the CWC.

  • Launched 25 years ago, the Center helped community members through its publications. The center has just announced that applications are open for its final year of publications.
