The SJ Quinney College of Law, University of Utah, held a panel discussion yesterday, Defining Military Victory, From Vietnam to Iraq, Afghanistan to the Gaza Strip. With thanks to SJQ's tech folks, we present comments from Prof. Amos Guiora, who spent 20 years in the IDF and has family currently serving in the Israeli military. Guiora starts by quoting the classic Country Joe McDonald song, The Fish Cheer/I-Feel-Like-I'm-Fixin'-To-Die Rag.
From our Memorial Day show earlier this year, Utah Army veteran turned singer-songwriter Andrew Wiscombe shares a song, Daddy Don't You Dare.
Last week on the show, RadioACTive didn't have enough time with Adrian Rollins, a veteran of the US Air Force and Guard & Reserve. So Risshan Leak and Lara Jones asked him to stick around and record with us for tonight's Veterans Day Special. Not only has he started a local chapter of About Face, Veterans Against the War, but he's also an organizer for the Party for Socialism and Liberation SLC and is helping to start a third political party, the People's Freedom Party.
