It’s All About the Experience
Fort Desolation Fest limits attendance to ensure a premium experience for all. “We want people to be able to move around comfortably, get close to the music and enjoy the festival without long lines. This has been a big part of it from the very beginning,” said Jeremy Rawle, founder of Fort Desolation Fest.

Adventures By Day, Music By Night
Fort Desolation Fest takes place just outside Capitol Reef National Park, one of Utah’s “Mighty Five” national parks. With music each evening, attendees spend their days creating their own adventures amid the awe-inspiring red-rock cliffs, canyons, domes and arches surrounding the festival. From hiking to fly-fishing to cycling to off-roading, there’s something for everyone.

What’s New in 2026?
● Limited passes available for the on-site Oasis Pool & Fitness facility (21+), complete with bar and rentable cabanas
● The Fort Desolation Fondo, a two-day gravel-cycling event created with the Utah Gravel Series
● And more to come

A Legendary Campground
Set in a pristine, freshly cut alfalfa field with sweeping red-rock views, the campground is the heart of the Fort Desolation Fest experience. Spacious camping spots, wide-open skies and easy access create a relaxed atmosphere where people make themselves at home, and even create little neighborhoods by reserving spots beside friends and family. Highlights include campsite cookouts, cornhole throwdowns, after-hours jams with festival artists and stargazing in this International Dark Sky Community.

Luxury Options, from Glamping to Villas
Those seeking extra comfort can rent one of the limited glamping tents or villas at the festival. Glamping includes a beautifully furnished canvas tent with a memory-foam mattress and upscale amenities, plus 2 VIP three-day festival passes, 2 passes to the Oasis Pool & Fitness facility (21+), dedicated parking and more. Luxury villas offer two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a kitchenette, living area, fireplace and private deck overlooking the festival grounds. The villas sleep up to 6 adults and include up to 6 three-day VIP passes, plus access to the Oasis Pool & Fitness facility (21+).
