Tonight's homegrown music: Saemore

Saemore is an indie western musician from Logan, Utah, channeling two opposing genres through a unique fusion of influences. Drawing inspiration from the cinematic storytelling of Ennio Morricone, the raw intimacy of country artists like Colter Wall and Kacey Musgraves, and the modern indie spirit of bands like Lord Huron and Jesse Jo Stark, Saemore crafts a sound that is both nostalgic and forward-thinking. Her twang-infused melodies, moody atmospherics, and heartfelt lyrics evoke the spirit of the West and what it’s like to grow up there.
