Roots reggae legend and Grammy award-winning artist Burning Spear has been a seminal figure in the 1970s roots reggae movement. Burning Spear, whose given name is Winston Rodney just received a Lifetime and Master of Reggae and World Music Culture Award from the International Reggae and World Music Awards for his contributions to reggae music and global consciousness for 57 years.
Burning Spear plays The Commonwealth Room coming up Wednesday, June 10 here in Salt Lake City.
