Once Upon A Time In Harlem is a multigenerational project that sheds light on artists, activists, and change makers that lived through the Harlem Renaissance as they gathered in 1972 for a reunion party.
Radioactive's Connor Estes sat down with Co-Director of the film David Greaves. David was one of the folks behind the camera back in 1972 when everything was filmed, and now after his father William Greaves passed away in 2014, has edited the footage for its premeire at The 2026 Sundance Film Festival. Artists, musicians, librarians, poets, journalists, actors, photographers, and activists all gathered in Duke Ellington's home to discuss topics of the time as well as topics that are more relevant than ever
