Wasatch Food Co-Op is trying to get to 10,000 members by the time it opens SLC's first member-owned grocery store this fall. Evan Sugden says the co-op is getting close and just needs another 1,000 members.
Symbria Patterson of Red Acre Center for Food & Agriculture on the nonprofit's annual Gather Series, a farm-to-fork experience June 23, 24 and 26. Plus, the center's annual farm tour is coming up later this month.

Millcreek Farmers Market is getting ready for the season. RadioACTive gets a preview from Meg Bracken, market manager.
Applications are now open for the second annual Millcreek Farmers Market, held 5-9 PM Wednesday evenings in the heart of the community at Millcreek Common. Season runs July 2 - September 24.
A total of 40 spaces are available, with priority given to produce vendors. All other categories will be limited in quantity to create a well-balanced market.
Vendors at this market must be directly responsible for raising, making or producing the products sold here. No reselling or imported goods will be permitted.
