Bomba Marilé's Dr. Miriam Padilla Vargas stopped by with folks visiting from Puerto Rico. They'll take part in Speaking Through the Drum tomorrow at 9AM at Sorenson Unity Center,1383 S. 900 W., SLC. Free and open to the public. Big thanks to Rafael, Sara, Omar and Manuel for playing and singing on the show tonight!

Clint Nash and Jim Seamons of the Utah Giant Pumpkin Growers came back as promised to share details on their upcoming giant pumpkin growing seminar at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, at True Leaf Market, 175 W. 2700 S., SLC. 

Al's Urban Farm Report, featuring the Living Soils Summit, Practical Techniques for Small Farms & Big Gardens. Guests included James Loomis, Wasatch Community Gardens' Dir. of Ag Operations and Green Phoenix Farm Director, and Katie Lawson of Fungal Focus. Congrats to Katie and everyone else who lobbied and won recognition of the porcini as Utah's State Mushroom!
