About Alternative Garden Club

Founded in the early 1980s as an "alternative," welcoming place for members of the LGBT community, AGC continues to function as a fun social group for LGBTQ+ persons and their straight allies. Must love or be interested in gardening, landscaping, and growing things. It is a member club of Utah Associated Garden Clubs (UAGC), a nonprofit with 10 clubs and 650+ individual members who gather to share the joy of gardening, floral design, and civic and environmental responsibility.
