Cross Roads Urban Center and the Coalition of Religious Communities Focus on Ending Childhood Homelessness, The Poor People's Campaign in Utah on Demands for the First 100 Days of Biden/Harris

The Utah Poor People's Campaign's Pegasus Blaise Page-Collonge and Cale Carthey give details about the national PPC organization's organizing effort to push for 14 demands that they believe can be accomplished in the first 100 days in the Biden/Harris administration.

 The Coalition of Religious Communities at the Crossroads Urban Center: Ending Childhood Homelessness in the 2021 Utah Legislative Session

The Crossroads Urban Center held a web event inviting state legislators, policy experts, and the faith community to talk about how childhood homelessness can be reduced in Utah through legislative efforts. The speakers included:

• Sarah Brundage Senior Director of Public Policy at Enterprise Community Partners
• Senator Luz Escamilla, Utah State Senate, District 1
• Rev. Joan Bell-Haynes, Executive Regional Minister, Central Rocky Mountain Region, Christian Church (Disciples Of Christ), USA and Canada
• Senator Derek Kitchen, Utah State Senate, District 2
• Rev. Karen Oliveto, Bishop, Mountain Sky Conference of the United Methodist Church
• Jennifer Sullivan, Director of Housing and Health Integration at the Center on Budget and Policy
