The Utah Legislature began its General Session earlier today. RadioACTive got a report from Emily Walsh of the League of Women Voters of Utah, Andrea Himoff of Action Utah and Michael Orton of the Capitol Press Corps.

Sundance Diaries: KRCL Red Carpet Reporter Autumn Thatcher spoke with Yetunde dada and Shariffa Ali of Atomu, a virtual reality experience that takes you inside a Kikuyu Tribal Myth from Kenya, where man may become woman and woman may become man. Atomu is screening at the Biodigital Theatre at New Frontier Central, 950 Iron Horse Dr., Park City. 

#OpenPhones with Salt Lake City Mayor Erin Mendenhall, who was sworn into office earlier this month. 

  • Salt Lake City residents are invited to apply by Feb. 21, 2020, for the Resident Food Equity Advisors (RFEA) program. Advisors will attend monthly 3-hour meetings. Compensation, childcare and meals will be provided. The selection process will prioritize individuals that are low-income and carry significant risk factors associated with food hardship.
