March For Our Lives SLC on raising an activist in the home and community. Plus, 20th Anniversary of East High GSA v. Board of Education

Tonight’s lineup:

  • Leah Farrell, senior staff attorney at the ACLU Utah, on the 20th anniversary of East High GSA v. Board of Education — a landmark case in Utah LGBTQ history
    • 20 Year Anniversary of East High GSA v. Board of Education: Aug. 3, 6:00-7:30 p.m. p.m., Utah Pride Center, 1380 Main St., SLC. Then-student plaintiffs Ivy Fox and Leah Farrell, now Senior Staff Attorney at the ACLU of Utah, will join Carol Gnade, who directed the ACLU of Utah during the legal challenges, in a panel discussion hosted by the Utah Pride Center and the ACLU of Utah.
  • Rockin' Storytime at the SL County Library, featuring Melodie Ashley, Elizabeth Sollis, Bernadette LeRoy, Vern Waters, Lupe Carranza and Dave (Gruber) Allen.
