RadioACTive, in partnership with Rocky Mountain Community Radio, and KGNU in Boulder, Colorado, hosted a live call-in show about immigration Issues with Ciriac Alvarez Valle and Liliana Bolaños of Voices for Utah Children and Raquel Lane-Arellano with the Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition.

This live call-in show explored how federal immigration laws intersect with state and local policies. We heard from experts, community members, and those directly impacted—unpacking the policies, the people, and the personal experiences behind the headlines.

  • Liliana Bolaños, a proud Mexican American from Michoacan, Mexico, an Immigrant Family Policy Analyst at Voices for Utah Children, and an Immigration Advisor to Mormon Women for Ethical Government. 

KGNU Guest: 

  • Raquel Lane-Arellano with the Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition, a state-wide organization founded in 2002 to improve the lives of immigrants and refugees by making Colorado a more welcoming, immigrant-friendly state
