Digital Authoritarianism, Hoppy Hour 2019, Touch a Truck with the Junior League, Wasatch Studio Tour 

Julia MCCarrier Edwards, from the Summit Land Conservancy. with a preview of Hoppy Hour 2019 beer tasting with Julia MCCarrier Edwards, Summit Land Conservancy. She'll bring some of the beer brewed from the wild hops folks saw if they went on the hikes with them over the summer.

An update on Junior League and its work in the community against the backdrop of its 10th Annual Touch a Truck October 12 @ Valley Fair Mall. 

A Spotlight on Wasatch Studio Tour, a new non-profit startup. and Salt Lake's first valley-wide artist open studio tour, a huge art stroll over a weekend where you visit artists in their studios, with guests:

  • Sarinda Jones, one of the organizers and a full-time public and personal artist (glass/sculpture/mixed media). 
  • Dave Hyams, a partner at Luminaria Studio, which is a photgraphy education and photography art studio near Down Town Salt lake. He uses last century techniques to produce his work.
  • Jill Saxton Smith, who has just returned from over ten years in both Africa and South American, where she taught art, including to disabled children. 

Digital Authoritarianism

Carrie Rogers-Whitehead from Digital Respons-Ability was back in the studio for Digital Inclusion Week 2019 . Subjects included:

  • Utah Open Source
  • Facial recognition
  • Digital parenting book in 2020
