SLAC's Summer Show: The Gaslight Zone

Does the daily news cycle leave you feeling like you're slowly losing your grip on reality? If so, then you might already be in The Gaslight Zone. SLAC's Cynthia Fleming and members of the cast fill us in on what's in store for the World Premiere of The Gaslight Zone. inspired by the storylines of the legendary 1960s series, it will transport you into a world where today’s headlines meet satire and a well-timed dance break.

Queer History Corner: Utah AIDS Memorial Project

For Pride Month, KRCL has collaborated with the Mildred Berryman Institute to bring you Utah Queer History each Monday and Thursday throughout June. The Utah AIDS Memorial Project brings researchers, community members, and memory together to ensure that every name—every life—is remembered authentically and fully in order to build a better present and future. 

  • Robert Micheal Painter was the first known Utahn to suffer from AIDS in the state. Born and raised in SLC, Painter studied management at the UoU and served an LDS mission to Montreal. To hear more of his story, use the media player below.
