  • Tonight is the first round of the semifinals on American Ninja Warrior (Mondays, 7 PM, NBC) and Utah is representing in the latest season. RadioACTive catches up with athletes and brothers Kai Beckstrand (18, St. George) and Luke Beckstrand (17, St. George). Look for them next Monday, July 21, in round 2 of ANW semifinals.

  • Dana Levy and Mickey Ottonelli of Survivor Wellness fill us in on the nonprofit's annual Survivors at the Summit, July 27 @ Brighton. Started in 1996, Survivors at the Summit honors and supports the cancer survivor community with a day in the mountains filled with fellowship and outdoor activities, all under a sea of yellow Tribute Flags carrying messages of love, hope, honor, and remembrance.

  • NeighborWorks Salt Lake's Stephanie Mahina invites you to nominate folks for the non-profit's 40th Annual Paint Your Heart Out. They're looking for families, seniors, or individuals who could benefit from a fresh coat of paint and a helping hand on Salt Lake City's west side, Midvale City, and Murray City. Deadline to nominate: July 18. Volunteers needed for the event, Aug. 15, too. Put a team together and apply here.

Gabi Finlayson, Jackie Morgan and Ben Haynes founded Elevate Campaign Strategies to lend their combined 35 years of campaign experience to candidates on the progressive side of the aisle. Gabi and Jackie have become political "influencers" with their irreverent takes on Instagram. Three days ago, they posted a video clapping back at Utah's congressional delegation for an op-ed in the Deseret News explaining why they voted for Trump's tax bill.
