    • Nov. 1: El Gran Día de los Muertos Celebration | 5-10 PM @ Millcreek Common, 1354 E Chambers Ave, Millcreek. "Celebrate the beloved Mexican tradition that honors and celebrates the lives of those who have passed away! This celebration is about love, remembrance, and the joy of keeping connections alive with family, friends, and even pets who are no longer with us. Catrina face painting, sugar skull craft, music, and dancing, Catrina parade. Delicious food and drink, including pan de muerto and chocolaté."

    • Nov. 2: Celebración del Día de los Muertos | 1-6 PM @ Centro Civico Mexicano, 155 S 600 W, SLC. Free. Featuring activities, entertainment, altars, artisans, food, and La Catrina of Salt Lake.

  • Dec. 4: SAVE THE DATE for Jingle & Mingle with Food Justice Coalition. Founder Jeanette Padilla Vega on helping folks generally, but especially come Nov. 1, when federal benefits stop due to the government shutdown.
