KRCL's Spring Radiothon Is Here

Your generosity is what keeps nonprofits like Listeners' Community Radio of Utah going!

Tonight's Challenge Match for Good partner is the Utah Investigative Journalism Project, a nonprofit that aims to preserve hard-hitting investigative journalism in Utah by providing free investigative reporting to local media outlets, as well as free investigative training to local newsrooms and student journalists.

UIJP Founder Eric Peterson joins us tonight to help raise funds for community radio. To show our appreciation, KRCL will provide FREE underwriting so UIJP can promote its programs without spending its cash reserves.

Part of community radio's role is to support fellow nonprofits, from the arts to human rights to the environment to the helpers in our neighborhoods. This means your gift not only supports KRCL but also helps UIJP share its message with our listeners and expand the impact of your generosity.

You can donate throughout Spring Radiothon in the name of the Utah Investigative Journalism Project at this unique link: https://bit.ly/freepressKRCL

Why It Matters:

  • Double the Impact: Every dollar you give is matched with pro bono underwriting spots

  • Support Local Media: KRCL amplifies diverse voices and music

  • Strengthen Our Community: Help both organizations thrive

BONUS: Peter Newmann called in from a rally outside of the proposed federal detention center in SLC during the show. Check out some of the grassroots groups involved today: Ducks and ClucksIndivisible Utah CountySL Indivisible, and Utah Overpass Action.
