Rallies & Resources Spotlight (full list here):

  • Dec. 23: Food Justice Coalition Christmas Dinner Fundraiser | 3-5 PM @ Square Kitchen, 751 W 800 S, SLC. FJC's Sam Unruh joins us to explain how you can help one last time this year.

    • HOW TO HELP: "Just $5 helps provide a full, nutrient-dense Christmas dinner for a neighbor experiencing homelessness or a family facing hunger. This year, are thrilled to share that donations will be matched up to $15,000 thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor! You can give with confidence knowing your donation will have DOUBLE the impact! In Utah, 1 in 7 people—and 1 in 6 children—experience food insecurity. This holiday season, help us reach our match so we can serve more Utahns facing hunger." To donate, click here.

  • Jan. 2: Project Rainbow deadline to submit Community Fund grant applications. Dir. Jacey Thornton and Hillary McDaniel of Rock Camp SLC, a past grant recipient, talk about the selection process as the nonprofit prepares to distribute more than $50,000 to individuals and organizations creating programming and events for LGBTQ+ Utahns in 2026.

    • HOW TO SUBMIT: Any individual, group, or organization can apply for grants. The Project Rainbow Utah board of directors generally chooses and announces the recipients in March of each year. Applications for the 2026 cycle are open now! Submit your application by January 2 to be considered.
