From people like Ma Black of NOVA FM, Saturday Morning Breakfast Jam's Shannalee Otanez, Maggie Laun, who created Women Aloud, and Risshan Leak, RadioACTive's community co-host on Tuesday nights. Tonight, student reporter Brayden Ortega talks with Nick Burns, who is the longest-serving community co-host of RadioACTive. You can hear him on Wednesday nights on the show.
Emily Worman is president of She Sends, a women's climbing club at the University of Utah. Student reporter Georgia Metcalf talks with Worman about her experience as a female climber and the founding of She Sends, upcoming events, and other outdoor activities Worman is involved in.
Maria Blevins is a professor at Utah Valley University and a former river guide. Student reporters Jane Bock and Nadeen Ayoub discuss her work with the river rafting industry, her ongoing research focused on harassment within that space, and efforts to change it.
