KRCL's Summer Drive kicks off Monday, June 8th and we could use a few helping hands answering phones and taking donations. Sign up for a shift, and come support the most amazing radio station in all the land. 

There are still lots of open shifts, and we'd love to have you down!

All we ask is you come prepared with basic computer skills, a clear voice, and the ability to be precise while having a great time at KRCL.  If you can only sign up for one shift, that's great, if you can sign up every day, that too is great.  Whatever you sign up for, just please make sure to be here 15 minutes early to get settled in and make the transitions between shifts run as smooth as possible. 

Also, please do your best to spread yourselves out.  If there's a shift with nobody signed up, if you can, please fill that before a mostly filled shift. Thanks.

Here are a few things to keep in mind: 

  • If you want to bring a crew from work, please get in touch with Eric at ericn@krcl.org, and we can arrange that.  We can thank your organization/business on air! If you're interested in coming with a work group or organization, let me know and we can find a time and recognize your help on air (At least two folks)
  • Please arrive 15 minutes before your shift to make a smooth transition.
  • You will need to watch the Training Video, and sign a waiver before your first shift again this year (even if you've seen it in the past) Be prepared for really busy times, and really slow times.  
  • Bring yourself a book, a good story to share, a crossword to work on with the other volunteers...there will be down time. 
  • If you already have a name tag you are willing to bring in, please do!  Please bring a reusable water bottle/coffee mug (with lid), to keep the dish load and paper cup load down
  • If you ever have any questions, please ask the Office Manager on duty.
