RadioACTive's weekly live music hour continues its mission to amplify Utah's independent music scene, spotlighting local artists each and every Friday from 6-7 PM on 90.9 FM KRCL. As a day long celebration of local music on 801 Day (August 1) we featured longtime local giants: Hectic Hobo
What's Hectic Hobo sound like? "Americana folk rock n’ roll band. Hundreds of shows, six albums, two European tours, one accordion." They were our featured band for 801 Day on Punk Rock Farmer Friday, and they were the first band to be live-streamed from the Big Room at KRCL. To see and hear what you missed, click here. You can now catch bands live streamed each and every Friday on KRCL's Youtube Channel!
Missed when Hectic Hobo played on the show? No worries. You can listen to their full in-studio session and more homegrown sets from Utah's underground scene via KRCL’s audio archive: Listen to the full show here. Or you can watch past live local performances on KRCL's Youtube Channel.
KRCL is always scouting fresh local talent for its Friday night spotlight. If you're a Utah-based band looking to share your sound on the airwaves, we want to hear from you!
