Pioneer Day

Join us for a special Days of 47′ Parade event! The Leonardo is located on the parade route and we are KSL 5 TV’s headquarters for Pioneer Day broadcasting. Watch the parade, enjoy snacks and activities and visit the museum for extra Pioneer Day fun! Become a museum member and get access to Members Only Parade Patio! Patio opens at 8:30 AM. Memberships Info: https://theleonardo.org/memberships Parade Viewing on Library/Washington Square is Free. Admission is required to enter The Leonardo, special programs and Pioneer Day activities in the museum are included. Admission is $12.95 per adult and $8.95 per child ages 3-15 years. 7th Annual Utah Pacific Island Heritage Month Kick off

Latest article on this years 7th Annual Utah Pacific Island Heritage Month which is Saturday July 27, 2019 at Sorenson Multicultural 855 California Ave. Starting at 8am-2pm the 1st Volleyball Tournament as part of the Kick Off. Next door at the Sorenson Unity Center from 11a-5pm please browse the Art Exhibit, a tribute to Glendale dance group "Malialole" for their years of community service using music and dance, with a display of their handmade traditional dance costumes or you can watch free Pacific Island film screenings until 5pm. At 5pm grab your Passport outside till 10pm behind Sorenson Multicultural center. Better then an Pacific Island Travel Trade Show with 13 Pacific Island cultural stations that all live here in Utah. Cultural stations new this year are the countries of Palau, Niue and Rotuma, traditional foods new this year are from the countries of Tuvalu and Marshall Islands, new community performances from the RapaNui and Marshallese community intertwined with other local community groups. An add this year is the Talk Story Stage for literary pieces, story telling and demonstrations on a smaller, intimate space. The main stage will have non stop entertainment of all types with Community Leaders doing the hourly passport drawings. Free health screenings onsite provided by the University of Utah's Health Bus and the Heart Association. 50th Park City Kimball Arts Festival

The Park City Kimball Arts Festival returns to Main Street August 2-4 for its 50th year. This is one of the largest festivals in Utah and Kimball Art Center’s biggest fundraiser of the year. Funds raised from this three-day event allow us to provide art education in public schools, bring free, world-class exhibitions to Park City, and further our mission: To inspire and connect through art. This promises to be three days packed with art, cuisine, and music. Volunteering for Arts Fest is loads of fun and comes with an automatic deposit in your good karma bank account. Plus, volunteers receive free entry into the Festival, VIP lounge passes, swag bag, opportunity to win great prizes and more.

Tacofest is a culinary food festival used to bridge cultural gaps with the culinary masterpiece known as the taco! Join us for a day filled with live music, family friendly entertainment and Utah's own taco vendors as they compete for Best Taco Awards in five categories! With the support of the community and everyone involved, Tacofest has raised $11,500 for Meals On Wheels-Utah our first two years! To continue the spirit of giving, we are proud to announce that we will be raising money for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Salt Lake for 2019 and hope you will join our effort in making this year unforgettable!
