Volunteer to Help Adult English Learners

The English Skills Learning Center (ESLC) invites community members to attend our upcoming Volunteer Orientation Meeting. This event is an opportunity to learn about meaningful volunteer roles teaching English in our community-based classes. As the need for accessible English education continues to grow, we are actively seeking new volunteers to meet the demand and help strengthen the bonds that make our community thrive. What to Expect: Introduction to ESLC: Learn about our mission, history, and the vital role volunteers play in our programs. Volunteer Opportunities: Discover how you can support English learners as a teacher, co-teacher, or assistant in community-based classes. Training and Support: Hear about the comprehensive training and ongoing resources available to help you succeed as a volunteer. Community Impact: Understand the powerful ways English education fosters inclusion, empowerment, and stronger connections between individuals and communities. Why Your Involvement Matters: The growing diversity in our community reflects its vibrancy and potential, but it also highlights the need for accessible language education. By volunteering with ESLC, you are not just teaching English; you are creating opportunities for connection, understanding, and collaboration that benefit everyone. Together, we can build a more inclusive and unified community. We welcome people of all backgrounds to join us for this informative session and take the first step toward making a lasting impact.
