Joshua James, legendary Utah musician and international touring artist. Many of you also know the velvety voice of Julianne Brough from her past work with bands like Book On Tape Worm, S2cool, Fonteyn, and more.

What you may not know is that both artists have a strong love for the music of The Carpenters, and that Joshua even has an entire album dedicated to the band called “Dreams of Karen”.

Because of this shared appreciation (and an inspired idea by Velour owner Corey Fox), Joshua and Julianne paired up for a secret show in 2022 for Buzzards & Bees, and performed the songs of the Carpenters to about 30 lucky attendees. They then took it a step further and added an all-star backing band to play the "Firelight Kick-Off" at this year's Fork Fest.
